Here’s the truth about chimney maintenance in Minnetonka: most homeowners wait too long between sweeps, and that’s when creosote buildup turns into a fire hazard. We don’t just show up, run a brush up your flue, and leave, we inspect for cracks, blockages, or signs of water damage that other sweeps miss. Local weather plays a big role too; Minnetonka’s freeze-thaw cycles can weaken mortar over time, and we’ve fixed chimneys in your neighborhood where previous sweeps never checked for it. Our goal isn’t to sell you more services. It’s to make sure your chimney is actually safe, so you can enjoy your fireplace without second-guessing whether you’ve been ripped off.
What sets Elliott Rincon Chimney Co apart in Minnetonka isn’t just our pricing, it’s how we handle the little things that add up. Other sweeps might charge extra for a ‘quick look’ or ‘basic inspection,’ but we include a full safety check in every sweep. We also use modern tools to spot issues faster, which saves you time and money in the long run. Minnetonka’s older homes, especially those near Lake Minnetonka, often have chimneys that need extra attention. We’ve seen firsthand how a small crack or improper sealing can lead to costly repairs down the road. Our team doesn’t just follow a checklist; we ask questions like, ‘Has your chimney ever leaked during rain?’ or ‘Do you notice smoke smell when it’s not in use?’ because those details matter. Transparency isn’t just a policy, it’s how we’ve built trust with hundreds of families in this area.
